Not "she had a good day." We keep a running record for every child photographs, work samples, notes on what they tried and what they figured out tied to the same developmental objectives New Jersey uses to measure kindergarten readiness. Twice a year we sit down with you and go through it together. That record is why we can tell you your son has started negotiating instead of grabbing, or that your daughter counted past ten for the first time on a Tuesday in March. It is also how we catch the things worth catching early, when there is still plenty of time.
